Countryside Style | Anima Bed and Wellness
Welcome to Anima Bed and Wellness our standout choice for countryside style in the heart of Puglia’s Itria Valley.
Here you find an exclusive and carefully curated bed & breakfast spread over two hectares of ancient olive grove and garden, located deep in the peace and quiet of the rolling olive groves that are typical of this part of our region.
Each of Anima’s beautifully decorated five double rooms have been individually styled and are uniquely and thoughtfully decorated and accessorised.
All of the rooms have their own independent entrance from the garden with a private bathroom and their own terrace with comfortable lounge chairs. The Trullo Antico and Vecchio Forno are independent self contained buildings set away from the main building.
The beautiful and tasteful layout extends to the setting where calm, peace and quiet are to be found in abundance. Even though there is guest accommodation for up to five couples the layout of different garden “rooms” that have been created and the wellness spaces ensure private areas distant from each other, guaranteeing the privacy of guests.
Sieb and Francesco have succeeded in bringing together luxury, style and comfort. So well executed that you’ll be tempted to spend time on site, enjoying the gardens and the outside space, including the thoughtful touches that bring extra value: the wellness area with Finnish sauna and hot tub. A relaxation room overlooking the olive grove. There’s an infinity style swimming pool, a lily pond and a terrace with sun beds and loungers nearby the Anima vegetable garden. Relax in the sun or in the shade of the olive trees.
There is a beautiful kitchen “cabin” and barbecue area where guests can prepare their own food if they so choose. For those who do not want to dine out, a simple pasta dish with fresh products from the Anima vegetable garden is served every evening.
Breakfast is served on a beautiful outside terrace.
There is little else to add - we will let the pictures taken on our visit tell you Anima’s story.
If you prefer to stay in a city we recommend Ostuni. It has a vibrant centro storico in summer, with restaurants and bars to be discovered in every alleyway twisting around and up and down the hilltop upon which the duomo sits. It’s nooks and crannies are worth taking two or three days to explore, at a gentle pace and is perfectly positioned as a base to explore the Valle d’Itria and beyond.
