From today everyone over the age of 12 must present a COVID-19 digital green certificate to access certain services and activities:
The “green pass” is available to those who have had at least one vaccine dose and to anyone who has recently recovered from Covid-19 or who presents proof of a negative test before accessing any of the activities under restriction.
Access to these services and activities is allowed on presenting the EU Digital COVID Certificate or an equivalent certificate issued by the health authorities of Canada, Japan, Israel, the United Kingdom and the United States certifying:
Green passes must be in Italian, English, French or Spanish and can be presented in digital or printed formats.
These are also needed to access to health care facilities for the elderly (RSA).
Presentation of the green pass will be mandatory when moving into and out of areas that may be classified as "red" or "orange" zones in the absence of valid reasons for work, health or proven urgency.
From 1 September, the pass will be mandatory for teachers and university students and to travel on trains, planes, ferries and long-distance coaches.
