Salento Pride 2022
Salento Pride will return on Saturday 16 July 2022, and will be celebrated in Lecce.
Salento Pride, now in its 8th year, is curated by Ra.Ne (the Rainbow Network) based in Lecce. Follow them on Instagram. The Big Gay Podcast from Puglia were proud sponsors of Salento Pride 2019 and 2021. The 2020 celebration was cancelled due to covid.
We have yet to hear whether the organisers of Puglia Pride will once again join with Salento Pride. The two Pride events have been held together for a number of years, although the two organisations remain separate.
Announcements have still to be made whether Bari and Taranto will host Pride events in 2022.
