Famed for its ceramics, Grottaglie’s centro storico has interesting street art on display from the students of the LiceoArtistico CALÒ. Set against a backdrop of sometimes tired buildings, the plaster and paint peel away from the walls to reveal a story of years gone by.

Away from the rich vibrant blue and green hues of sky and sea and ceramic glaze the colours are subdued, slower and less obvious.
