Bulletin contains | news about mandatory mask wearing outdoors from 3 October.
Mask wearing is now mandatory in all outdoor spaces and in premises open to the public where it is not possible to continuously guarantee the maintenance of a safety distance of at least one metre.
Which mask
Disposable or washable masks, even self-produced, can be used in multilayer materials that ensure an adequate barrier and, at the same time, comfort and breathability, shape and adherence suitable for completely covering the nose and mouth.
Who can not wear it
The obligation does not apply to relatives or cohabitants, to children under the age of six, to people with disabilities not compatible with the continuous use of the mask and to those who interact with them.
The sanctions
Unless the fact constitutes a crime, failure to comply with the obligation is punished with the penalties provided for in Article 2, paragraph 1 of Law Decree no. 33 of 16 May 2020 converted, with amendments, into law no. 74 of 14 July 2020, and in article 4, paragraph 1, of law decree no. 19 of 25 March 2020, converted with amendments by law no. 35 of 22 May 2020.
