Porto Rosso is one of Monopoli’s most popular beaches.
The video was shot before the holiday season starts to peak in August and at a time when due to the Covid-19 pandemic it is estimated that we have 50% less foreign visitors across our region.
According to information published in La Repubblica on 1 August the incidents of contagion per 100,000 of population across Italy remains low: 5.7 cases per 100,000. The main clusters of infection are still in the north of Italy, with far fewer Here in Puglia and elsewhere in the south.
